About Our Firm
The Nelson Law Group LLC was founded by Michael O. Nelson, who received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his law degree from the University of California, San Francisco’s Hastings College of the Law. While in school, Nelson worked for the San Diego District Attorney’s office as a legal intern, researching civil and criminal environmental issues. After graduation and prior to opening his own firm, he was a shareholder and attorney with the national firm of Hunsucker Goodstein & Nelson PC.
Nelson and his staff represent clients with environmental law issues in a wide range of industries, including construction, dry cleaning, property management, development, foundries, manufacturing, metal working, gas stations, metals recycling, electrical contracting and oil distribution. He also works on behalf of local governments in Indiana, assisting them in investigating and remediating contaminated properties within their borders.
